Sung Village

Sung Village is a 300-year-old hamlet in the forested hills of Hoa Binh Province. Here, the tightly knit Dao Tien ethnic minority have preserved their way of life through the decades. The village is a rare and wonderful setting itself, where winding rock paths lead through the trees to ancient ‘Ruong’ houses made with sturdy wooden planks and thatched, palm-leaf roofs.
