Her family lives at the heart of Sung village, Da Bac district and is deeply involved in both daily farming and community tourism activities.

A Family Rich in Tradition

Ms. Tiên is an active member of a local women’s craft group, specializing in indigo dyeing, hand embroidery, and traditional performances for guests. She is also a loving mother of four young children, all cared for with devotion by her kind and energetic mother-in-law.

Meanwhile, her father-in-law plays a very special role in the village. As a respected shaman and one of the few elders who can still read the ancient Dao Nom script, he teaches community classes to pass on this rare and valuable knowledge.

From Storage Room to Guest Room

The guest room has a meaningful origin. It was once a simple storage space for unused household items. However, when Ms. Tiên welcomed her fourth child, the family cleaned and prepared the room as a traditional resting space for recovery—following the Dao Tien practice of creating quiet, healing spaces for new mothers.

This moment sparked inspiration. With support from the community tourism team and guidance from experienced architects, the room was thoughtfully transformed into a cozy, clean, and inviting guest space. Since April 2024, it has warmly welcomed visitors seeking an authentic cultural stay.
