Chien Village

hoa binh Province

Discover Chiến Hamlet, a hidden gem in the cool highlands of Van Son, Tan Lac district. Nestled nearly 1,000 meters above sea level, the village enjoys a refreshing climate all year round. Known for its ancient orange orchards—symbols of the land’s long-standing Muong heritage—Chiến offers peaceful landscapes and preserved traditional stilt houses. With support from Action on CBT, community-based tourism was introduced here in 2019. Today, visitors can enjoy authentic Muong cuisine, stay with local families, and experience the slow, quiet rhythm of mountain life. Only three hours from Hanoi, Chiến Hamlet is an ideal escape for nature lovers and culture seekers alike. From here, travelers can also conveniently connect to Pu Luong Nature Reserve and onward to Ninh Binh.
